![]() Highlight the words starting in column AA, copy and then paste somewhere of your choosing onto the answer grid. Manually find a spot on the answer key for where you want to add the words that did not make the list. Use the menu to “Test for Errors.” This will go through the word list and double check that all of the words on the list are accounted for in the puzzle or in the oops list. If it is not blank another word is using that spot! That word is then NOT added to the puzzle and added to a list in column AA. When placing letters on the puzzle my code checks to see if the spot is blank. One of the problems with placing words randomly is they will run into and “eat” other words. Your child might enjoy making up a puzzle and seeing how many words he can find in it or how many words a brother, sister or friend can find. You can read him the words in the puzzle or have him braille these out before beginning the puzzle. Have your child use Wikki Sticks to cover the letters of the words in the word search puzzle or words he finds on his own. A friend or brother or sister might enjoy doing this for your child. Put one letter in each square of the graph paper. Set up on the cookie sheet the word search puzzle using the magnetic letters. Get a book of word search puzzles from the library or bookstore. Tape the piece of braille graph paper to the cookie sheet. This playing piece shows the letter “k.” If the print “k” is also included on the piece then your child and others can use the same pieces to play together. Be sure the letter is placed correctly so that your child can orient the playing piece by the notched out corner.
